Lucy is a Legal Director in the London Commercial Disputes team. Lucy specialises in high value domestic and cross-border disputes in both High Court proceedings and international arbitration.

Lucy's recent experience includes: acting for ADT defending a claim in excess of £112m in the High Court and Court of Appeal arising out of a fire at a food production facility (Trebor Bassett and Cadbury v. ADT Fire & Security plc, [2011] B.L.R. 661; [2012] EWCA Civ 1158; [2012] EWHC 3365); obtaining a WFO for Ukrainian bank VAB against 29 defendants in 9 jurisdictions in support of an $80m LCIA arbitration in London (PJSC Vseukrainskyi Aktsionernyi Bank v Maksimov, [2013] EWHC 422; [2013] EWHC 3203); advising Itaú in relation to a £100m ICC arbitration in Stockholm involving the UK, Sweden and Brazil; acting for Marubeni in an LCIA arbitration in London concerning the supply of emission credits under the Kyoto Protocol; representing Midgulf in jurisdiction proceedings in the Court of Appeal (Midgulf International Ltd v. Groupe Chimique Tunisien, [2010] 2 Lloyd's Rep. 543); advising a Woody Allen production company in an IFTA arbitration concerning licensing rights of his film "Match Point" in Spain; and representing Irish show-jumper Cian O'Connor in a CAS ad-hoc arbitration concerning his selection to compete at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Lucy has contributed to two published books, "International Arbitration: A Practical Guide" and the IBA's handbook on "Privilege and Confidentiality". Lucy is a member of the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum, the LCIA's Young International Arbitration Group and the Junior London Solicitors Litigation Association.

Lucy speaks Spanish and French and has undertaken secondments to our Paris, Rome and Milan offices. She also gives pro-bono advice at Mary Ward Legal Centre in London.
