Martin Warren is Head of Labour Relations and advises on all aspects of trade union law and labour strategy . He has over 30 years of experience working with household name clients in formulating and executing labour strategy . He has particular expertise in dealing with recognition and de recognition disputes , contingency planning for industrial action , restructuring and redundancies & running European Works Councils . He has worked with the Confederation of British Industry for over 20 years providing specialist input into its stance on labour issues

Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP's has a particular focus on three areas - City financial service firms and major plcs; international work; and industrial relations. With regards to City/financial services work, the team handles much work relating to the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, while its international practice is continuing to thrive on the back of the firm's transatlantic merger in 2017 and other recent global expansion. Manchester partner Diane Gilhooley heads up the firm's global HR practice; in London, the team is led by Paul Fontes, who handles both non-contentious and contentious matters, including Employment Tribunal and High Court disputes, with a particular focus on the financial services sector. Other key London partners include labour relations head Martin Warren, industrial relations head Marc Meryon and Sophie White, who joined from Abbiss Cadre LLP in April 2018.
