David's recent projects include: advising trustees in relation to a scheme merger; advising employers on the impact of legislative changes and the options available to them; acting for employers and trustees in relation to scheme funding negotiations and assisting with parent company guarantees and other security documents; advising trustees in relation to High Court litigation proceedings instigated by the scheme's principal employer; advising employers and trustees on amendments to, or rewrites of, scheme rules and other documentation; advising insurers in relation to a buy-in transaction; and advising trustees on the effect of changes to the employer's business, including advice in relation to employer debt, anti-avoidance and clearance.

David also has experience providing training in respect of key pensions legislation and proposed or recent changes and recently spoke at a client briefing on the new flexibilities for defined contribution pensions.
