Transactions include: £485m takeover of Geest; £105m IPO of Superglass; secondary buy-out of AZ Electronic Materials; National Grid sale of Advantica; £55m AIM float of Abbey Protection; acquisition of SPI Group for RWE Npower; acquisition of Garrad Hassan by Germanischer Lloyd AG; sale of LPC Group to Sofidel SpA; advising Phoenix Equity Partners on investment in The Gym Group; advising Equistone on investment in Whitworths; acting for shareholders of Cybex GmbH on €70m sale to Goodbaby International; acting for shareholders of Eastern Airways on 60% sale to Bristow Helicopters for £27m; acting for LDC and family/management shareholders of Benson Box on $165m sale to Graphic Packaging International; advising shareholders and management of Simplify Group on sale to Palamon Capital Partners; acting for founder shareholders and Mobeus Equity Partners on disposal of Focus Pharmaceuticals to AMCo; advising Beech Tree Private Equity on investment in RS Fleet; advising Centiq Group and shareholders on investment from LDC; advising US QSR (3i portfolio) on the acquisition of Silicone Altimex; advising Lyceum Capital on the acquisition of Coryton Advanced Fuels; acting for Cisco on the simultaneous acquisitions of Portcullis Computer Security, Cyber Security and Portcullis; advising HKS on the acquisition of Brobot Petroleum; acting for Equistone on the buy-out of Worldmark and subsequent exit to CCL Industries; and advising LDC on the management buyout of TXM Plant.
