Tom van Wijngaarden joined Eversheds in 2009. Before that time, he worked for almost 20 years as a lawyer with Stibbe, where he became a corporate partner in 1998. Tom specialises in corporate law, company law, corporate governance and financial reporting. His work includes advising on public bids, offerings and private placements of securities, venture capital and private equity transactions as well as M&A transactions, including coordinating due diligence team work.

Focusing on Healthcare and Life Sciences, Tom is a member of the Eversheds International Healthcare sector group.

Tom is also a member of Dutch Accounting Standards Board (Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving) and member of the editorial board of various professional journals. He is credited with more than 50 corporate publications and gives lectures and courses on financial reporting.

Tom van Wijngaarden is per 1 november 2009 als partner toegetreden tot Eversheds. Daarvoor was Tom bijna 20 jaar advocaat bij Stibbe, sinds 1998 als corporate partner. Tom is gespecialiseerd in ondernemingsrecht, vennootschapsrecht, corporate governance en financiële verslaggeving. Zijn werkzaamheden bestaan onder meer uit het adviseren bij openbare biedingen, onderhandse plaatsing van effecten, venture capital- en private-equitytransacties en fusie- en overnametransacties, inclusief het coördineren van due diligencewerkzaamheden in teamverband.

Tom is lid van Eversheds International Healthcare sectorgroep.

Tom is tevens lid van de Raad voor de Jaarverslaggeving en redactielid van diverse ondernemingsrechtelijke vakbladen. Hij heeft meer dan 50 publicaties op vennootschapsrechtelijk gebied op zijn naam staan en geeft regelmatig lezingen en cursussen op het gebied van financiële verslaggeving.
