Position
Howard is a partner in the firm’s international finance group in London having joined the firm as a partner in 1994. He practises primarily in international and cross-border transactions with particular emphasis on banking transactions, emerging markets, project, export and trade finance, structured finance, synthetic securitisation and structured derivatives. Howard has been a law firm partner in the City of London for over 25 years and has been practising for over 30 years. During most of this time, he has advised banks and financial institutions established in England, overseas banks and financial institutions doing business in London or participating in transactions funded in the London financial markets and fund managers and funds in relation to a wide range of financing transactions, including complex structured or derivative transactions, the provision of finance to support overseas projects, cross-border trade, sovereign and private sector lending and general banking transactions.
