David Grunblatt is head of the Immigration & Nationality Group in the Labor & Employment Law Department. David advises on all types of immigration law issues to corporations from a broad range of industries, including financial services, media and publishing, and luxury brand retailers. He counsels his clients on policies and programs to facilitate the hiring and transferring of foreign nationals and international personnel. For 30 years David also has
advised corporations, high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations on personal immigration issues, including family immigration, exclusion and removal (deportability), U.S. investment and tax-related matters.

Proskauer Rose LLP is very active in obtaining non-immigrant and immigrant visas for executives, managers and individuals with specialized knowledge, but the team is equally adept at handling the immigration aspects in corporate transactions. Other work relates to advice on immigration policies, unlawful immigration practices and internal audits. Recognized immigration law expert David Grunblatt, who is very knowledgeable on the I-9 program and matters surrounding mandatory compliance and record keeping, leads the practice alongside special counsel Valarie McPherson in Newark. McPherson has a diverse practice including guiding clients through the EB-5 immigrant investor visa process. Financial institutions, large corporations, not-for-profit organizations, churches and universities are among the firm's clients.
