Position

John G. Ferreira is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. Mr. Ferreira's practice involves every aspect of employee benefits, executive and equity compensation, and related areas. In addition to advice and counseling concerning compliance with ERISA, tax, securities, and labor laws, his practice includes support in litigation and transactional matters and collective bargaining, as well as representation of clients before the federal agencies responsible for regulation of employee benefit plans and programs, including the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor's Employee Benefit Security Administration, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. Mr. Ferreira also provides advice to vendors of services to employee benefit plans concerning compliance with the reporting, fiduciary responsibility, and prohibited transaction requirements of Title I of ERISA.
