Position
Co-head of the global insurance industry sector group, handling a wide variety of M&A, capital raising, traditional regulatory work; provides strategic advice to numerous insurance groups; last year, led the LeBoeuf team advising on the redomestication of Omega Underwriting Holdings to Bermuda; also advised several London market insurers in connection with capital raising initiatives, primarily private equity transactions and advising similar groups on business development strategies in the US and Europe; has also been lead counsel to a coalition of EU reinsurers who are seeking to lower collateral requirements in the US (this coalition has been led by the IUA); also advises EU and US-based insurers on compliance-related matters.
