Areas of practice
The China team has built strong client relationships with Chinese companies and government entities. Its lawyers have represented Chinese companies in several landmark mergers and acquisitions, including China Aviation Industry General Aircraft’s acquisition of US aircraft manufacturer Cirrus Industries, Inc, Chinese online education company Idapted’s merger with US technology company Eleutian Technology and United Energy Group Limited’s US$775m acquisition of all of BP’s upstream oil and gas assets in Pakistan.
The Beijing-based lawyers have received local and international formal legal training and are fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, among other languages.
