Position
Mr. Clark is a partner of the Firm, resident in Washington, D.C. He is a complex appellate and trial litigator with especially deep experience in administrative law cutting across a wide variety of agencies.
Career
Mr. Clark was an associate from 1996-2001 and became partner on his return to the Firm in 2005. From 2001-2005, Mr. Clark was Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Environment and Natural Resources Division, U.S. Justice Department. Mr. Clark frequently argues in the Courts of Appeals. For instance, he has argued and won appeals in the two Deepwater Horizon litigation. But Mr. Clark's practice operates at all levels — from litigation to agency proceedings to counseling.
