Legal market overview

Within Legal market overview,

One positive note for law firms in 2009 was the huge volume of restructuring work coming through the pipeline. One specialist in the field described 2009 as the ‘golden age of restructuring’. Dispute and employment work were two other areas that held up well. Competition teams also had a good year and a number of strategic hires were made in this space, with the biggest move being Claude Lazarus joining Howrey LLP from Clifford Chance.
