Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson’s ECM department is smaller than in its heyday, but it continues to work on a sizeable number of Hong Kong IPOs. Much of this is down to its bank-side relationships including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and UBS. The firm recently represented the underwriters on the global offering by Hosa International Limited. Hong Kong partner Victoria Lloyd and US securities partner Joshua Wechsler are the key names.
