Position
Corporate partner and member of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP’s investment management group. He advises investment managers and other financial institutions on a broad range of multi-jurisdictional private equity and other investment funds, including tax-driven fund structures and listed funds. He has a strong background in fund-related taxation issues.
Career
Previously partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for more than 20 years, where he founded the investment funds practice; partner Debevoise & Plimpton 2007. Recent representations include: Rockefeller Group International in its acquisition of a majority interest in the European real estate fund management group Europa Capital; Meinl Bank in the strategic restructuring of Meinl European Land Ltd, the Central and Eastern European property owner and developer.
