Ostrognai acted for Baring Private Equity Partners in the formation of a $2.46bn private equity fund: one of the largest-ever private equity fund launches in Asia. He is also acting for The Carlyle Group in the formation of eight RMB-denominated funds. In 2010, Ostrognai advised longstanding client CDH Investments in its formation of CDH China Fund IV, raising $1.46bn.
