Obtained, with highest honor, the Master Degree in Procedural Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC/SP) Law School in 2005. Earned a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and lived in Germany from 2005 to 2007, where he attended the doctorate course. Obtained, with academic distinction Magna cum Laude, the Doctor Degree at the German university Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in 2008. Frequented the German institute Max-Planck-Institut für Geistiges Eigentum, in Munich, a worldwide reference in the study of Intellectual Property Rights.
