Position
Morag Peberdy is of counsel based in Covington’s London office. She is a member of the firm’s intellectual property, corporate and litigation groups and has broad experience in all areas of intellectual property, where she advises on both contentious and non-contentious issues. Her particular focus has been on patent work in the life science sector, but Ms Peberdy’s wide-ranging expertise also extends to all forms of intellectual property rights, and to the technology, sports and fashion sectors. Ms Peberdy sits on the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee of The BioIndustry Association. Representative matters include advising Cambridge Antibody Technology in its successful UK court litigation for royalties in relation to sales of the monoclonal antibody product Humira; a large US pharmaceutical company in a UK court action involving patent license agreements relating to antibody technology; the British Horseracing Authority on the reorganization of the British horseracing industry and exploitation of the database of British horseracing.
