Herbert Washer heads the litigation department at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, which stands out for its strength in securities, antitrust and insurance disputes and is a 'national leader the First Amendment space'. In a recent highlight, a team led by Bradley Bondi in Washington DC prevailed on behalf of client Global Power (now Williams Industrial) at the Northern District of Texas when the court dismissed, with prejudice, a putative shareholder class action. Charles Gilman and Tammy Roy acted for UBS entities and UBS spokesman Peter Stack in a high-profile defamation action brought by a former employee; the Supreme Court of New York granted the team's motions and dismissed the complaint.
