James represents clients in a wide range of formal and alternative dispute resolution procedures, including through the Technology & Construction Court, Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation. James is experienced in representing and delivering specialist legal advice to owners/developers, contractors, professional consultants, subcontractors on construction and engineering projects using industry standard and bespoke forms of contract. He advises clients on issues relating to defects, delay, design liability, professional negligence, payment, insolvency and termination on domestic and international projects and in various sectors, including oil and gas, commercial & residential property, healthcare, education and transport & infrastructure.
