Position
Partner in the corporate department and head of the telecommunications practice group; has specialised in the telecommunications industry since qualifying; has acted on a wide range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions and disposals; including privatisations and investments in central and eastern Europe and the Middle East. Has advised on a wide range of telecommunication projects including contractual negotiations, disputes, outsourcings and the build out of pan-European networks. Has advised extensively on mergers and acquisitions, licensing and regulatory issues in the UK, and in other jurisdictions.

Articled Baker & McKenzie; qualified 1984; solicitor Baker & McKenzie 1982-90; partner since 1990; has written numerous articles for a range of publications including the ‘International Financial Law Review’, ‘Acquisitions Monthly’ and ‘Corporate Briefing’; speaks regularly on telecommunications and privatisation issues.
