Practice head Richard Husseini has been assisting MoneyGram with its appeal of a 2016 Tax Court decision stating that the client was not a bank for the purposes of Section 581 and 582 of the US Tax Code. Renn Neilson has been assisting Archrock in more than 700 property tax lawsuits pending in over 120 Texas counties; the lawsuits concern various districts’ refusal to treat Archrock’s natural gas compressors as ‘dealer’s heavy equipment inventory’ under the Texas Tax Code.
