Position
Stuart is the chairman of Davidson Chalmers and head of the corporate department. He has extensive experience from many years of dealing with commercial clients and advising on a wide range of business law-related matters, such as the purchase and sale of companies, corporate restructuring and joint venture arrangements. Stuart also provides opinions and consultancy advice, principally to other solicitors, on a variety of corporate and commercial issues.

Partner Bennett & Robertson 1981-95; Partner Davidson Chalmers LLP 1995 to date. Senior tutor in company law at Edinburgh University; author of ‘Company and Commercial Course Materials’ used by the Scottish Universities in the post-graduate diploma in legal practice.
