The team is widely respected for merger control matters, compliance and regulatory issues, IP-related competition issues and high-profile cases before the TDLC and the FNE. It regularly assists clients in the telecoms, technology and banking sectors. Recent work saw the team defend Walmart Chile (and parent company Walmart), against an FNE investigation into alleged price fixing collusion and subsequent FNE claim before the TDLC. It also advised Grupo Luksic subsidiary, port operator Antofagasta Terminal Internacional, in a non-contentious proceeding before the TDLC that aimed to modify the restrictions on vertical integration. Founding partner Nicole Nehme and of counsels Sander van der Voorde and Benjamín Mordoj are highly rated. Sebastián Dufeu, Diego Hernández and Josefina Campos are key practice directors.
