Position

Managing Partner and head of the Personal Injury Department. Specialises in mainly brain and spinal cord personal injury cases of the utmost severity, including professional negligence cases. Acting for the Claimant in Wilkinson v Churchill Insurance referred by the Court of Appeal to the ECJ. Also acts as a Deputy. Settlements include the case of Jackson involving PPO settlement of over £7 million and E, where damages of £16m were recovered.

Qualified in 1988; partner Pannone & Partners 1990; founded Hugh Potter & Company May 1998, becoming Potter Rees Dolan in 2014.

Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers; Law Society Personal Injury Panel; Secretary of Forum of Complex Injury Lawyers (FOCIS).
