Ryan, a Partner, advises on:

  • Purchasing, procurement, and supply chain contracts. Ryan is an expert in putting in place contracts for the purchase of key components and raw materials, buying machinery and tooling, engaging contract manufacturers, purchasing printing, packaging & fulfilment services, business critical outsourcing, and procuring warehousing and logistics services.

  • Contracts for the sale of goods and services. Ryan advises clients on drafting bespoke terms and conditions and contractual templates, supply and purchase agreements, long-term framework agreements, end-user warranties, e-commerce arrangements, and consumer contracts.


  • Distribution arrangements. Ryan has particular expertise in advising clients on contracts for appointing domestic and overseas distributors. He has assisted a number of clients in putting in place international distribution networks, enabling his clients to expand their businesses into numerous overseas territories.


  • Agency arrangements. Ryan advises agents and principals on commercial agency arrangements, providing advice on the potential applicability, and implications, of the Commercial Agents Regulations and the EU Agents Directive.


  • IP, IT, and Outsourcing contracts. Ryan has a post-graduate Diploma in IP law and practice from Oxford University and advises clients on contracts relating to the ownership, use, and exploitation of intellectual property rights. He also advises clients on IT and outsourcing agreements.


  • International and cross-border contracts. Ryan is well-placed to support clients with international legal requirements. He maintains a central role in the development of the firm’s international practice, and represents the firm in the Pangea Net international legal network. Ryan maintains close working relationships with lawyers around the world, making him an excellent point of contact for any client engaged in cross-border transactions.
