Health Advisory and Litigation

Position

David specialises in clinical negligence defendant litigation for the Medical Protection Society and NHS Resolution.

Career

Originally from South Africa, David trained and qualified in a constitutional Roman Dutch jurisdiction and spent a number of years working for the South African equivalent of the MIB in-house dealing with high-value traumatic injuries, including acquired brain injury, traumatic amputations, and para-, quadra- and tetraplegia claims.

He was one of the pioneers of tailored ADR for the resolution of RTA disputes. In 2001 he joined MacRobert Inc in Cape Town and was immediately allocated to the MPS account.  Prior to immigrating to the UK in 2007, David acted for claimants in clinical negligence matters for three years.
