Position
Partner in commercial litigation with emphasis on insolvency matters, both corporate and personal. Also acts in contract disputes, debt recovery, property and construction litigation matters; head of the insolvency department. Accredited as a specialist in insolvency law by the Law Society of Scotland.
Career
Trained MacDonalds 1988-90, qualified 1990; assistant and associate MacDonalds 1990-97; Harper Macleod 1997, partner 1999. Nominated as world leader in commercial litigation by ‘Who’s Who Legal. Independently recognised as a leading individual in ‘Chambers’. Has advised the Accountant in Bankruptcy since 2005. Lectures extensively on insolvency matters to IP and other insolvency specialists.
