Position
Partner in charge of the private client department undertaking all aspects of residential property work, including: sales; purchases and remortgages; preparation of wills and trusts; and the administration of estates. Deals with Guardianships/intervention orders; Powers of Attorney; all aspects of Adults with Incapacity(s) Act 2000. Also dealing with contentious executries; one of the first claims under Section 29 of the Family Law Act; and estate planning. Acting for lenders and Housing Associations in relation to all property matters, including refinancing and transfers.

Trained Glasgow City Council, qualified 1994; partner Ross Harper 1998; joined Harper Macleod as partner in 2007. Tutor in private client at University of Strathclyde.
