Position

Edward is a partner specialising in real estate finance, investment funds and private equity vehicles and general corporate/commercial work; acknowledged as one of Jersey’s pre-eminent finance and funds lawyers; has worked on a number of innovative corporate restructurings and commercial property financing structures. In the investment funds practice, Edward focuses on alternative investment vehicles, in particular property funds and private equity funds. Clients in this area include major fund management groups and promoters establishing open and closed ended corporate, unit trust and limited partnership structures; also acts for leading investment banks, private equity firms and FTSE top 100 companies; acts for a number of listed property companies as well as major financial institutions on commercial property financing transactions; heavily involved with general corporate/commercial work, including company and business acquisitions and disposals.
