Position
Fiona is one of the few qualified Guernsey advocates practising in the City of London. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, collective investment schemes and real estate finance. Fiona is regularly instructed by magic circle law firms, large banking entities and investment managers to advise on Guernsey related aspects of transactions both on island and internationally.
Career
Fiona qualified as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1994. She moved to Guernsey to work for Carey Olsen and qualified as an advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in January 1999. In October 1999 Fiona returned to the City of London to work for Berwin Leighton Paisner, before taking up a position at Carey Olsen’s London office. Fiona is one of two Guernsey advocates practising Guernsey law in the City.
