Position

Marc Yates heads Ogier’s corporate and commercial team. He specialises in corporate transactional and finance work, corporate restructuring and insolvency, public offerings and creating offshore structures. His clients are major international entities, law firms and other intermediaries. Recent work has included high-profile transactions involving public company equity issues, corporate restructuring and acting for clients in emerging markets, natural resources and energy sectors, listed on the London Stock Exchange, AIM and other exchanges.Marc also has a significant finance and banking practice, advising on acquisition and corporate finance structures, and all aspects of bank lending and security.The firm: in 2008 Ogier opened new offices in Bahrain and Tokyo and launched a new service, Ogier private wealth, which offers the very highest levels of personalised wealth planning for high-net-worth individuals, family businesses and family offices. Ogier now offers legal and fiduciary services from BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey and London.
