Position

Fabien has special expertise in syndicated lending and leveraged acquisition finance, as well as debt restructuring and insolvency. He has considerable experience in capital markets matters (including the issuance and listing of debt instruments), regulatory matters and commercial litigation. Fabien is the co-author of various client briefings and the author of articles published in recognised Luxembourg legal reviews.

Career

Before joining Ogier, Fabien worked for several well-known law firms in Luxembourg.

Fabien is fluent in French, English and German, and has a good command of Luxembourgish.

Education

Fabien was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2003 and gained his qualification as 'Avocat à la Cour' in 2005. He holds a French master’s degree in law (maîtrise) from the University of Bordeaux (France) and a master of European law degree (LL.M. eur.) from the University of Saarbrücken (Germany).

  • Enhanced Information for Cayman Entities

    The Cayman Islands Government has passed a number of amendment laws to strengthen Cayman's anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism regime. The laws, published on 8 August 2019, are intended to help address certain recommended actions in Cayman's legislative framework identified by the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force in its evaluation report published in March 2019.
