Trust and private client professionals set to reconvene 5 October 2012 for Mourant Ozannes'...
major conference
Due to the success of last year's inaugural event, international law firm Mourant Ozannes is delighted to announce the date for its second International Trusts & Private Client Conference. The conference will be held on Friday 5 October 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
Attorneys from Mourant Ozannes' renowned International Trusts & Private Client (ITPC) team will be joined once again by other well known experts in the field to talk to delegates on an array of topics.
Morven McMillan, who heads the Mourant Ozannes' ITPC team in Cayman will once again speak and co-chair the conference with Shân Warnock-Smith QC. Other key speakers this year include Joshua Rubenstein from Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in New York and Nicholas Holland from Bircham Dyson Bell LLP in London. The programme will include topics such as "The Art of Compromise" and "Firefighting: A focus on firewall legislation" as well as a drafting masterclass and role play. The role play makes its return after proving to be a particularly popular session last year.
Morven McMillan noted:
"We welcome the opportunity to build on the great success of last year's event in promoting the jurisdiction as a centre of excellence in wealth management and in demonstrating the strength and depth of expertise in Mourant Ozannes' International Trusts & Private Client team. We are delighted to announce our programme and speakers for this year and look forward to welcoming our delegates to the conference in October."
Once again, the conference will be hosted in collaboration with Rawlinson & Hunter and Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited, with CIBC Bank and Trust Company (Cayman) coming on board this year to sponsor the key note speaker.
Shân Warnock-Smith Q.C. added:
"I am delighted to be involved again this year in Mourant Ozannes' ground-breaking conference which proved to be such a success in 2011. This year promises an even more informative and entertaining programme and I look forward to seeing everyone there in October."
This year, event organisers have put in place an 'early-bird' registration offer. To take advantage of the $75.00 early-bird savings, delegates must complete registration by 31 July 2012. All registration is online at www.mourantozannes.com/itpc2012
