Position
Charles leads the corporate team in Manchester and specialises in mergers and acquisitions in both the private and public company arenas. He has over 15 years’ experience in a full range of corporate finance work. He has a master’s degree in law (from the College of William & Mary, Virginia, USA) and has been awarded the Corporate Finance Qualification by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is rated as one of the leading corporate finance lawyers within the North West, winning plaudits for being both ‘knowledgeable and commercial’. Recent successes include acting for Styles & Wood Group plc on its admission to the Official List and its £45.7m refinancing, acting for Gazprom Marketing & Trading Limited on its acquisition of TruRead Limited and acting for Cordant Group plc on various acquisitions and its £70m refinancing.
