Position

Steven has substantial private equity experience, in particular with share sale and purchase and cross border transactions, assets sales and group reorganisations. His major sectors include technology, media and recruitment agencies. Steven’s experience includes: advising the founders of leading healthcare recruiter The Pathology Group on the sale of the company to ICGS (backed by Blackstone); advising Hamilton Bradshaw (the PE fund set up by James Cann of Dragon’s Den) on the sale of Human Capital Investment Group to Graphite; Team 24 - on the sale of the company to Capita; advising on the take-over of Probability plc (the mobile phone gaming company) by GTech; acting for Voicevale (a commodities trader) in respect of a 20% sale to Toyota; advising Probability plc as to the acquisition of Playoo SA and a private placement; advising numerous recruitment companies on the restructuring of their business and incentivising key managers; acting on the management buyout of a recruitment business; enforcing post-termination restrictions against ex-employees. Steven has previously worked at both Baker McKenzie and Clifford Chance, he is now recognised as one of the leading M&A lawyers in the Recruitment Sector and regularly speaks at conferences.
