Position
Andrew is the managing partner of the corporate division, who specialises in UK and international M&A and joint ventures. The Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession has identified him as having a ‘strong commercial orientation’ and as a leading expert in his field. Andrew works across a range of sectors with a particular focus on consumer products. Andrew’s clients include BA, Britvic, Delta, Diageo, Harper Collins, Icelandic Group, Inexus, McBride, Schwan’s Group and William Hill. Recent transactions include advising: BA on its disposal of the BA Connect business to Flybe; Delta on its takeover by Valmont; Diageo on its acquisition of Serengeti Breweries in Tanzania and various interlinked joint ventures with Heineken and Namibia Breweries in Southern Africa; and Schwan’s Group on the divestment of its European business (including the Chicago Town pizza brand) to Dr Oetker.
