Position
Neil is a partner in the firm’s financial services group, based in the Leeds office. He advises corporate clients and financial institutions on acquisition, disposal and other corporate transactions with a particular track record and focus on deals in the financial services sector. Neil’s recent deals includes advising Aviva plc on the sale of RAC Autowindscreens Ltd, HPI Ltd and The British School of Motoring Ltd; advising health insurer, Simply Health (HSA) on the acquisition of BCWA. Adastral and Remedi; advising Barnsley Building Society on its merger with the Yorkshire Building Society; advising Hitachi Capital (UK) Plc on its acquisition of London Scottish Invoice Finance Ltd; advising Scarborough Building Society on its merger with Skipton Building Society; and advising Skipton Building Society on its acquisitions of Torquil Clark and Thompson Shepherd and on its disposal of Direct Life & Pensions Services Ltd and Amber Select Ltd.
