Joint senior partner and head of property litigation. Mark has conducted cases in most courts up to and including the landmark case of Pepper v Hart relating to construction of statutes. Mark’s current cases include large dilapidations claims, particularly in the Technology and Construction Court. Mark has a specialist knowledge of Leasehold Valuation Tribunal and Upper Chamber (Lands Tribunal) work relating to Right to Manage, service charge disputes and discharge of onerous matters affecting land. A case of particular interest is the entitlement of one Right to Manage company to manage a development comprising different buildings but shared grounds. Mark has also acted for parties in proceedings before the Land Registry Adjudicator. Mark is a qualified mediator.
