Abigail specialises in all forms of planning and development work and acts for landowners, developers, the public sector, funders, investors and utility companies. Her work includes advising on s106 agreements, CIL, appeals and public inquiries, high court planning challenges and promoting large scale regeneration and infrastructure projects backed by compulsory acquisition powers.

Abigail also acts for parties promoting or objecting to Compulsory Purchase Orders, Development Consent Orders, TWAO’s or Hybrid Bills such as HS2 (in respect of which she has experience of petitioning).  She also acts on related compensation disputes arising from compulsory acquisition and has experience of taking compensation disputes through the Special Procedure in the Lands Tribunal as well as concluding complex settlement agreement documentation.

She is an active member of the Compulsory Purchase Association and the National Infrastructure Planning Association.
