Types of work undertaken:

Company commercial: Gannons provides support to clients with their business dealings. The firm enables clients to select the most appropriate business structure, manage recruitment, motivate key people and protect their assets. The firm handles investment agreements, shareholder agreements, director agreements and agreements for the acquisition or sale of businesses. Commercial agreements include partnership agreements, agency, licences, assignments, and terms and conditions.

Dispute resolution: the firm’s approach is to settle commercial disputes wherever possible, but to be prepared to litigate if necessary to achieve results. Gannons’ solicitors are equally effective in acting for defendants in resisting litigation claims as they are in acting for claimants commencing litigation, seeking injunctions or looking to resolve commercial disputes.

Employment: the firm offers both contentious and non-contentious employment law services. The work often requires a blend of employment law plus intellectual property, tax or share ownership-related angles. The instructions relating to employment and white-collar crime, such as investigations by the FCA and SFO, are increasing.
