In recent years David has advised many leading global brands and content and platform providers. This work ranges from commercial contracts to infringement matters.

Intellectual property and media specialists Hansel Henson are a highlighted particularly for soft IP and media-related disputes. Founders David Hansel and Thomas Henson head up the practice which includes Justine Flockhart. The team acts for Globefill  (the makers of Crystal Head Vodka) on extension of, and several disputes for protection of, its UK and EU trade mark and design rights. It also continues to act for Interoute in a claim brought by easyGroup. Other clients include Freesat, Steinhoff UK Retail and the Science Museum.
