Clinical negligence (claimant); personal injury (claimant).
Tracy heads the firm's personal injury department and is also a board member. Tracy specialises in claims of maximum severity, adopting a multi-disciplinary approach by liasing with the medical team, case managers, and the Court of Protection. Her particular interest is in paediatric cases (birth injury and neurological damage as a consequence of trauma/illness). Tracy has been appointed a professional trustee in a number of high-value settlements that have been placed in personal injury trusts. In the two decades that she has been conducting personal injury claims, she has recovered compensation of over £40m for claimants. Tracy conducted the case of Re A v D NHS Foundation Trust in which the conventional value of the award was £6.74m but if the claimant lives to 50, the award is valued at £11.4m. This case is the model order for periodical payments for earnings and determined issues in relation to Peter's undertakings. Tracy has lectured on brain injury, clinical negligence and PI trusts to a wide variety of audiences.
