Position
Jennifer specialises in advising wealthy international families and high-profile individuals, as well as companies facing adverse media coverage, including bringing defamation and privacy actions and making complaints to the media regulators. She acts, for example, for Sir David Barclay and Sir Frederick Barclay, their family and companies. Jennifer also has extensive public law and judicial review experience, having handled many high-profile judicial review actions, for example, acting for Tube Lines when it successfully intervened in judicial review proceedings, preventing the Mayor of London from stopping the PPP of the London Underground. She has advised the Spoliation Advisory Panel on disputes between claimants and UK museums, galleries and collections concerning art lost during the Nazi regime, as well as judicially reviewing the Lord Chancellor to ensure that Sark’s new constitution is ECHR compliant.
