Position

Regional office head for the Birmingham office and leads the Birmingham disease team. Specialises primarily in the field of occupational lung disease, with particular focus on asbestos induced injuries, asthma and allergy claims. Regularly instructed by clients who have no insurance cover and also advises clients on transfer of undertakings regulations, corporate liability, associated risk management and policy issues.

The team at Weightmans LLP  covers the entire spectrum of personal injury defendant work. David Tuck  leads the practice and specialises in occupational lung disease issues, mainly relating to asthma, allergies or asbestos exposure claims. Penelope Marshall  focuses on social services claims, which can often involve abuse or assault claims. Tim Salthouse is an expert in public and employer's liability claims, and recently defended the Motor Insurer’s Bureau against a £1,000,000 motor accident claim. Chris Webb-Jenkins' interests lie in social care and regularly works on group action cases.  Zurich Financial Services,  AIG and Ageas are key clients.
