Position
John is the director of the commercial business line at Weightmans which includes the firms corporate division. He handles corporate transactions and commercial contracts working for a number of digital media and entertainment, logistics and insurance clients as well as institutional funders. He has a particular expertise in the computer games sector. He advises on corporate affairs, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, funding and project finance as well as commercial agreements such as development and publishing contracts and distribution agreements, logistics, operating agreements and intellectual property licensing.
