General corporate transactional and commercial contract work. Acts for a number of clients in the computer games industry on funding, acquisitions and development and publishing deals, as well as advising a wide range of commercial and institutional clients in other sectors on corporate finance matters, funding structures, commercial contracts and intellectual property exploitation. Also handles partnering arrangements, constitutional issues and commercial contracts for a number of public authority clients.

Career: Trained Cuff Roberts; qualified 1990; Brabner Holden Bank Wilson (now Brabners Chaffe Street) 1990-2000; head of corporate 1998-2000; deputy managing director and managing director of a UK plc in the entertainment and leisure sector; partner Weightmans 2003; commercial director 2007.

The main statutes relating to employment are the Portuguese Employment Code (approved by Law 7/2009 of 12 February 2009) and the Regulation of the Employment Code (Law 35/2004 of 29 July 2004) which is still in force notwithstanding the fact that parts have been revoked with the entry into force of the new Employment Code.
