Position
Partner in social housing team. Sheila has built a strong client base in the North West to compliment her existing client following that includes clients such as the Vicinity Group, West Mercia Housing Group and Muir Group Housing. Sheila has 20 years of property experience acting for registered social landlords, housing action trusts and local authorities. She has expertise in property development for shared ownership, newbuild homebuy and outright sale, regeneration projects, stock transfers, security and funding work, and advice on s106 Agreements. Since Sheila’s arrival, the ?social housing division has gone from strength to strength and she is well on her way to repeating the success she has achieved in previous positions.
Career
Qualified 1995; Brabners Chaffe Street, Weightmans (acted for Liverpool Housing Action Trust carrying out property and grant funding work); Cobbetts (acted for registered social landlords carrying out all types of development and other property work); Freeth Cartwright (similar role as that of Cobbetts); partner Mace & Jones 2009 to date. Merged with Weightmans May 2011.
