Position
John advises occupiers of property for the purposes of their own businesses, including industrial occupiers, government organisations, hotels and restaurants, and also property companies and charities. His practice covers all aspects of commercial property (including investment, sales and purchases), leasing and development-related work, including secured lending and management. His experience includes acting for many years for Dairy Crest Plc, carrying out purchases and sales of properties for them and all other property work required in connection with their business; acting for a very old charity in Blackheath in connection with their property investment portfolio, including both sales and purchases of property and occupational leases; acting for property companies, including St Anselm Development Company Limited, in connection with their purchases of investment and development property; acting for the Carlton Tower and the Lowndes Hotel in connection with their licensing requirements; acting for a property company on all aspects of its investment and development portfolios; acting for a bank on the refinancing of a large industrial portfolio; acting for the Gas and Electricity Consumer Council (Energywatch) in connection with their head office and all of their regional offices. John acts generally in almost all aspects of commercial property acquisition and disposal, landlord and tenant work, and other commercial property-related work.
