Captain Samuel Bonaparte Hutapea, A.Md., S.H., S.E., Master Mariner. Mr Bonaparte has a broad range experience, having 13 years at sea prior to entering the legal profession and thereafter specializing in admiralty and maritime law.

His experience in Maritime Industry started as a Deck Cadet, he become a Captain at the age of 25 on A.P. Moller Group for their fleet in Alexandria (Middle East region) and then promoted to Auditor for Iran fleet, he was also serving as a Marine Surveyor for Braemar.  Beside Lecturing in Indonesian Ministry of (Sea) Communication Training Institute and other University, he owns Bonaparte Marine Indonesia - a marine services company and Marlins ATC, Bonaparte Indonesia Foundation and as advisor for Indonesian Seaman's Union - PPI on which he involves crew of SAMUEL BONAPARTE to familiarize them with the admiralty and maritime from the perspective of the maritime industry itself.

at Law, he has worked with Rajah Tan Indonesia. Apart from successful domestic Indonesian cases against private entity e.g. Prudential and several states owned company also numerous Indonesian form of Ship Arrests, he has undertaken National and International ADR cases inclusive of LMAA - London, SIAC - Singapore and HKIAC - Hong Kong.
