Position

Ms. Alinea’s areas of practice include labour and litigation, specialising in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Alinea is a known expert and lecturer in the field of arbitration law. She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI). She is also an accredited arbitrator of the PDRCI, Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). Ms. Alinea also heads two of the firm’s specialised practice groups, intellectual property and immigration.

Career

Before joining the firm in 2009, Ms. Alinea was a partner at Quisumbing and Torres (Baker & McKenzie). Ms. Alinea is a member of the Order of the Purple Feather, the honour society of the University of the Philippines College of Law.

The firm also acted for Century Pacific Food Inc. in its acquisition of the license to manufacture, market and distribute Hunt’s products in the Philippines, which was previously held by Hunt-Universal Robina Corporation.
