Partner dealing with a mixed portfolio of work at every stage of the process of defending allegations from the police station to the Higher Courts. A regular trial advocate at the Magistrates’ Court but also representing clients in Crown Court cases, in particular offences against the person, sexual offences, and Proceeds of Crime Act applications. Responsible for the management of the Birmingham office of the firm, involved in review of the quality of the work carried out at that office. Responsible for training staff, training principal for the trainees solicitors and police station representatives. Higher Court Advocate. LSC Peer Reviewer.
